This article describes progress that is being made towards Big Corporation's discrimination of people with criminal backgrounds before getting to an interview. The keyword here is BEFORE. At some point, an individual will have to disclose the information prior to being hired. Although this is a step in the right direction, unfortunately this will not end the discrimination altogether. The main hope here is that more corporations will follow suit and begin to adhere to the EEOC's latest guidelines. So keep your head up everyone! These shifts in hiring policies will not be a guarantee to employment, nor will they be the standard among many companies, but it is definitely a sign of progress.
