Programs for convicted felons exist to help these individuals find employment, work to get rights restored, provide housing options, offer counseling, and assist in furthering their education. NATIONWIDEVocational Rehabilitation Services
Having been incarcerated, in addition to possible substance abuse issues, will likely be enough of a disability to qualify someone for these services. Employment, education, and some housing assistance provided. Available in all states. Alcoholics Anonymous 12 Step Recovery support group meetings. Suggested for individuals with alcohol abuse issues. Located in all states. Convicted felons welcome. Narcotics Anonymous 12 Step Recovery support group meetings. Suggested for individuals with substance abuse, to include alcohol issues. Located in all states. Convicted felons welcome. Goodwill Industries Has a program to help ex-offenders find employment. State Employment Offices Has a program to help ex-offenders find employment. |

They provide a list of local resources based on the type of help needed. |
